Sunday Lovin'

Hey guys! It's a wonderful, warm, sunshine-y afternoon.  (Actually I realize this post took 2 days to get up so it's two days later). Oh well.  I just got home from church, which is three hours. That may seem really long to some of you, but it is so worth it! I live for Sundays.  For the reflection and renewal time it offers me. After a long, hectic, emotionally and physically exhausting week, Sunday could not come soon enough. I love everything about Sundays.  I live for Sundays. It's  been on my mind today how God is simply so good. He blesses us even when we feel completely undeserving. He truly is always by our side if we will only turn to Him and open our hearts and minds to feel the peace, calm, and love He offers. Feeling grateful today for the time off from school that is allowing me to reconnect with my parents and younger siblings. It's a priceless thing. It really is the little things that mean the most. And it's the people you surround yourself with who bring the most happiness in life.

gettin' started ♡

So the time has finally arrived that I am starting a blog!  I've been wanting to do this for at least a year but never seemed to get around to it.  I'm Kristin, I'm 19 and will start my sophomore year of college in a few months.  My first year was amazing, transformative and so eye-opening actually.  I loved it.  I hope this can act as a kind of online journal or forum type thing for me to just talk about things that are important to me or whatever I want to express.  Though most people who don't know me well might say I'm quiet and reserved, I love expressing myself through writing and tend to have strong opinions.  I guess you could say I'm strong-willed.  And I love talking to people.  I love getting to know all sorts of people, those similar and different from myself.  I'm a Mormon.  But that's definitely not the only point of my blog.  It's just a tidbit about me.  A pretty important one though.
More interesting posts to come! :)

Kristin
